Work Experience
Isatou began her career as a Real Estate Paralegal at a top Legal 500 firm, where she played a key role in managing the property portfolio for one of Europe’s largest discount supermarket chains. She later trained at a large regional firm where she gained extensive experience in residential property transactions. This included freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages and new-build purchases from leading developers. During this time, she developed knowledge in affordable housing schemes such as Shared Ownership and Help to Buy.
After qualifying as a solicitor in 2023, Isatou joined Waldrons to further develop her expertise in commercial property and the telecoms sector. In this role, she assists a leading solicitor who exclusively represents landlords and landowners in disputes with mobile phone operators. Working within one of the country’s foremost law departments for telecoms matters, Isatou contributes to non-contentious cases while particularly enjoying the investigative side of commercial property—investigating titles and reviewing searches to provide clients with swift and pragmatic solutions.
