Qualifications and Study Experience
Courtney studied law at Birmingham City University, she then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Birmingham, achieving a Commendation on the course. Alongside the LPC Courtney completed her Masters degree.
Work Experience
Whilst completing her law degree and LPC, Courtney started working for Waldrons Solicitors in an admin role in the Commercial Department. Courtney started her legal career at Waldrons, then becoming a Trainee Solicitor in 2018. She completed seats in Corporate and Commercial, Employment and Clinical Negligence. She spent most of her time in the Corporate and Commercial team and decided to qualify into that area of law in August 2020.
Courtney now works in our Corporate and Commercial department and also advises on Employment law. She deals with a range of commercial issues, including mergers and acquisitions and drafting commercial terms.
She works with clients of all ages and backgrounds, both employers and individuals and also advises individuals on employment law issues.

Courtney qualified as a Solicitor in 2020 and is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. She is also a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Personal Info
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and traveling the world. She has a little boy and a boxer x sharpei dog who love spending weekends away in their VW campervan. Courtney has recently got married and you may know her as Courtney Hawkins.
