Solicitor, Sapphire Stait, who joined Waldrons in January 2019 has recently been successful in her application to the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme. Sapphire received this accreditation in June 2022
This is an accreditation confirming her experience and knowledge of children law and is recognition of her specialism in this area of law. The accreditation is a quality standard for lawyers who work in children law proceedings, and is recognised by the Legal Aid Agency. It allows clients and professionals (such as guardians) to choose a suitable practitioner in children law proceedings. Sapphire is now able to represent vulnerable children and CAFCASS children’s guardians in proceedings before the Family Court.
Waldrons’ Managing Director, John Roberts, said: ‘This is a significant achievement for Sapphire and very well-deserved. Her case work and client care have been excellent since she joined the firm in 2019, and this recognition is testament to her hard work. She joins Patrick Sheedy and Luke Boxall as being accredited by the Law Society for their Children Law work, increasing the number of solicitors in the firm to have this accreditation from two to three. Children Law is a challenging area of the law, and I’m proud of the team we have here and the work that they do. Well done Sapphire!’
