The Medical Negligence team at Waldrons Solicitors has welcomed a new member to the team, Francesca Hodgetts, who is qualifying as a solicitor today. Fran started her training at the firm and upon being admitted to the role has chosen to stay with us and start her career as a solicitor with Waldrons.
Fran will be joining the busy Medical Negligence team, based at Waldrons’ Brierley Hill office. After having started as a member of the Commercial Support Staff team, Fran started her Period of Recognised Training (PRT) in January 2019, initially working part-time whilst she finished her Legal Practice Course (LPC). Fran has completed seats in the Corporate and Employment departments, as well as doing some Personal Injury work. After having also worked in our Medical Negligence team, Fran found her niche and we’re pleased that she’s chosen to join us as a solicitor.
Fran said: ‘I’m really pleased to start work as a solicitor in the medical negligence team. I’ve enjoyed the training experience with Waldrons and have found support across the entire firm. The past year has led to some changes in the way we work, but we’ve adapted really well and I feel ready to take this next step in my career. I take a lot of pride in representing our clients and I’m looking forward to getting the best results possible for them.’
The Head of the Compensation Department at Waldrons, Joseph Norton, said: ‘I’m delighted that Fran is joining the team. She shows a great deal of potential, and gets on really well with our clients. Over the past couple of years, she has developed the skills she needs to excel in her role and will be a great addition to the team. The continued growth of the department pays testament to the service we take pride in giving to our clients.’
Well done Fran!
