WJL recently hosted a unique and delightful in-house social event, where employees were presented with a Dessert Bar led by our very own Alissa, Christine and Meera. Alissa, who is a paralegal in our Family Law Department, showcased her cooking skills by making fresh waffles and crepes.
The event featured a crepe and waffle making station where employees could choose from a selection of toppings to include strawberries, crushed oreos, whipped cream or lemon & sugar. The chocolate fountain was a hit with employees who were invited to dip and devour the taste of strawberries, marshmallows and mini donuts on skewers or alternatively, opt for a cup of fruity punch.
This experience was met with enthusiasm as employees enjoyed the creative process and the delicious results whilst raising money for our Charity of the Year – Black Country Women’s Aid.
Joseph Norton, Managing Director, commented on the event: “Here at Waldrons Solicitors, we believe that fostering a strong sense of community and teamwork among our staff is essential. Events like these not only provide a break from the daily routine but also allow our team to bond over a shared experience. The waffle and crepe-making session was a fantastic way to bring everyone together, and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces.”
