The Employer Guidance has once again been updated.
Clarity has been provided that employees who are also Union Representatives or who are Non-Union Representatives may undertake duties and activities for the purpose of individual or collective representation of colleagues, whilst the representative is on furlough. This means that if an employee chooses a furloughed colleague to attend with them to a disciplinary, grievance or redundancy consultation for example that furloughed colleague can without it affecting their furloughed status.
