With the lockdown having been extended for another 3 weeks, from yesterday, it is somewhat unsurprising that the Job Retention Scheme has also been extended to 30 June 2020.
If you have not yet put any staff on furlough then please do not forget it is essential to have the employee’s written agreement to being furloughed and you must keep your notification and their written agreement (email is sufficient) on file for 5 years.
