Waldrons Solicitors, one of the longest established Law Firms in the Black Country, has expanded following a merger with specialist Personal Injury Firm Trinity Law Partnership.
The merger is the latest in a number of acquisitions for Waldrons which have seen the Firm grow since 1867 to a full-service regional Firm with offices in Dudley, Kingswinford, Merry Hill, Walsall, Worcester and Cheltenham.
Solicitors John McDonnell, Gerry O’Brien, Louise Smith, Colin Brooks and Paralegal Katie Hinton have joined the Compensation Department giving the firm a thirteen-strong team to provide advice and representation to the public in the areas of Employers’ Liability Claims, Road Traffic Accidents, Industrial Disease, Serious Injury and fatal cases, Criminal Injuries Compensation Claims and Medical Negligence.
Trinity Law Partnership was founded by John McDonnell and Gerry O’Brien in 2004 and were ranked in Chambers & Partners. The latest edition highlights that “Gerry O’Brien represents clients in catastrophic injury claims resulting from workplace accidents and RTAs, including serious brain and spinal injuries. Sources say: “Gerry’s attention to detail is legendary.” and “John McDonnell offers clients significant expertise in workplace injury claims, as well as occupational disease cases”
John McDonnell, Senior Partner of Trinity Law Partnership said, “After a successful 16 years at Trinity Law Partnership, we wanted to be able to offer a broader range of legal services to our clients and decided that the best way to do that would be to merge with a Firm that offered the same high levels of service that Trinity Law Partnership always maintained. We are very pleased to join a long established firm such as Waldrons and are looking forward to continuing to work with our existing and new clients and to be able to offer an expanded range of legal services at the highest level”
Managing Director of Waldrons, John Roberts, commented, “Our merger with Trinity Law Partnership provides Waldrons with a strong team of respected lawyers with the expertise required to meet the needs of our clients. It has been clear to me that the people in our respective Firms have great synergy with our working styles and our approach to excellent client care.”
The merger is a further boost to Waldrons towards the end of a very successful year for the Firm and coincides with the expansion of Waldrons’ Dudley offices during which the Firm hosted the Mayor of Dudley at an opening event earlier this month.
