Make a Will Week with DGNHS Charity: A Resounding Success as We Reach Full Capacity!

Wednesday 3rd April 2024

We’re thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of our annual “Make a Will Week” fundraising initiative in partnership with Dudley Group NHS Charity. This year’s event runs from 8th -15th April and has seen amazing support from the community, resulting in a fully booked schedule throughout the week.

“Make a Will Week” is an annual campaign aimed at raising funds to support the invaluable work of DGNHS Charity in improving the experience of patients and support the wellbeing of NHS workers. This initiative offers individuals the opportunity to have their will professionally drafted by participating solicitors, with all proceeds directly benefiting the charity.

The response to this year’s campaign has been remarkable, with NHS workers, supporters, and businesses coming together to make a significant impact. By participating in “Make a Will Week,” individuals not only ensure peace of mind for themselves and their loved ones but contribute to a cause that makes a difference in the lives of many. In return for arranging for a Will to be prepared and signed, we ask for donations for each individual Will. 100% of these donations go to the charity.

“We are overwhelmed by the incredible support we have received for this year’s ‘Make a Will Week’ initiative,” said Dawn Cash, Director of Waldrons.  “The fully booked schedule is a testament to the importance of planning for the future while supporting a cause that resonates with so many. We are truly grateful to everyone who is participating and showing their support.”

For those who were unable to secure an appointment during this year’s event, we run a second week during September so watch this space for further information.
