As we step into Spring, Waldrons Solicitors are busy planning fundraising ideas for our recently announced charity, Black Country Women’s Aid. Watch this space to see what exciting things are yet to come!
We have already shown incredible support by encouraging our members of staff to organise and get involved in dress down days, bake sales, our Easter Egg Appeal and also some of our amazing ladies from Waldrons’ attended the BCWA International Women’s Day celebrations.
Sabrina Banga, Solicitor in our Care Department said “Attending the BCWA International Women’s Day celebrations was inspiring in many ways, to hear and talk to empowering women who work tirelessly to help other women get back on their feet after they have left an abusive relationship or who are still in abusive relationships”. Sabrina had the opportunity to speak to Sara Ward, CEO of BCWA and thanked her and her brilliant staff for all their work.
The charity has a great establishment in the Black Country and we are proud to be in partnership this oncoming year to help raise funds for people who cannot speak out and also those who continue to suffer in silence. Without such charities, people who are experiencing domestic abuse are unable to reach out to just anyone, they need to be able to trust and count on those who can help. This takes a vast amount of courage, strength and belief that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Waldrons Solicitors, listen and act appropriately in the best interests of our clients. We are able to obtain urgent protective orders such as Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
